A short Monday list of federal bids for small contractors

openbidsweekly.com is a small test run by Aaron Vontell in New York City. It is not a company, and it is not affiliated with the SBA, SAM.gov or any government agency.

What it is

Every Monday, one plain email with only the new federal bids that fit your trades, your area and your certifications. Each bid gets one line: what the job is, the agency, the price range, bonds, site visits, the due date and the SAM.gov link.

SAM.gov's own saved-search alerts send every notice that matches a code. This is meant to be shorter and already read for you.

Price

The first two Mondays are free and need no card. If enough firms want it, it will be $29 a month. We will ask you before charging anything, and you can cancel any time by replying "cancel".

Why you got an email

We are writing to a small number of general contractors in Northern and Central California whose email address is shown publicly on their SBA Small Business Search profile. Each email lists three real bids that are open now.

How it is run

An AI assistant (Claude, made by Anthropic) finds the bids in SAM.gov's public data, drafts the emails from a template Aaron approved, and sends them for him.

Your data, and how to stop

We keep your name, email address and any reply, only to run this offer. Reply "no thanks", "stop" or "unsubscribe" to any email, or write to aaron@openbidsweekly.com, and we won't write again. After that we keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, and we delete the rest when you ask.
